I was a sports writer at Prairie View A&M University from 2003-2007. I got an Honorable Mention for Best Sports News Story at the 2004-2005 Black Colleges and Universities Newspaper Convention. I love writing to this day, and I still write a lot of poems in my spare time. I worked with Ralph Cooper at KCOH 1430 Radio in Houston, Texas from 2011-2012 covering daily sports topics and news live on the radio for 2 hours from 5:00pm to 7:00pm and I enjoyed it.
