Steven Michael Kennedy Biography

First let me say, I thank God for everything that He has done, is doing, and still is going to do in my life. I think everyone at one point in time has to sit down and really take a look back at their life, and realize what God has done in our lives. It may seem like other people have been blessed more than others, but God gives on time all the time, which means there are people being blessed right now, and others that will be blessed later, but I feel like we are all blessed by just being alive and getting up every day. I am originally from Houston, Texas, born and raised. God gave me great parents, I couldn’t have been blessed with better parents in Michael and Hattie Kennedy. One of the many things God has blessed me with tremendously is a strong supportive family on both sides. I love my parents Michael and Hattie Kennedy, my fiancé Kizziah, my daughter Michayla Kennedy, my daughter Amber, my sister Lisa Kennedy, my nephew Ameer, my Step-Mother Monique, all my uncles, aunts, cousins, grandparents, close friends, and they have been there for me from the start. Though I’m from Houston, both sides of my family are from Louisiana, particularly Grambling and Natchitoches, Louisiana. I think writing and speaking have been a part of my DNA longer than I realize. Everyone comes into the world with some form of imagination, and it’s up to us to use it. Before writing, I was an athlete. I played football, and ran track from childhood, all the way through high school. I loved competing in sports, and I still keep up with what’s going on in the NFL and USA Track & Field.
